New Design

As you may have noticed. I completely scrapped the old design that was previously ran nicholasreese.com. If you came here from Art of Blog to check out the examples in the tutorials, sorry that design had to go… It was pretty, it was fun, it was kinda tacky but it is no longer here.

The new design is still run on Thesis, but it is slightly more polished and there will be more changes in the future.

New Directions

Since my last post in August (WOW, its been a while). I feel like a completely different person. My perspectives on the world have been drastically shifted and irreconcilably changed. The catalyst to these changes have been the influence of life changes, talks with friends, The Power of Now and Landmark Education.

I am sure you will see these influences in my future writing.

Life Changes = Perspective Changes

After graduating from College at UCF, I moved to Austin Texas. Over this past month and a 1/2 I have come to a few major realizations.

  • First, money isn’t everything. It is quality of life that matters.
  • Second, Food is the most important human need and better food = better quality of life.
  • Third, Kombucha is amazing. If you haven’t tried it you are missing out.
  • Forth, Whole Foods in Austin (the one off West 6th St) is pretty much my Mecca.
  • Fifth, a Vitamix is definitely worth its weight in Gold. I mean c’mon what blender can make scrambled eggs

I am sure there are more, but right now I have food on the mind as I just left Mecca. ;)

New Direction

Overall, my life has taken a new direction, one where Money isn’t the sole focus. This fact alone will definitely reflect in the writing of this blog. Oh Yeah, also expect a lot more informal stuff and opinions.

Landmark Education is awesome. I became an Effective Coach because of it years ago. Cheers Nick!

It is astonishing how much “empty and meaningless” adds to your life. A decade after the Forum I’m still adding new and more exciting possibilities for my life. Of course internet marketing and web design are two of those things!

Back to the original subject that brought me to your site – Headway looks to be a very fast way of personalizing a website for yourself or for a client. Having read your post after a few others I’m convinced! I’m buying a copy for the web job just coming up.

Did you have an affiliate link I should use?

John, Empty and meaningless has changed my life. I think the forum was an essential part of who I am today.

Glad to see you are getting into web design. Your site looks awesome.

Here is a link that I will receive commission from.

Thanks.

Let me know if you have any questions about it.
